Why a theory-only course

Hands-on venepuncture skill is learned at the chairside, under supervision, on real patients — no website can give you that, and any that claims to is misleading you. What a course can teach well, from anywhere, is the theory: patient identification, infection prevention, vein anatomy and selection, the order of draw and why it matters, additive chemistry, specimen handling, and how to recognise and respond to complications. Get the theory right and the practical training that follows is faster, safer and far less bewildering.

What the ten modules cover

The course runs in a deliberate arc — foundations first, then core theory, then the clinical detail, then synthesis. Each module is short enough to finish in a sitting, ends with a ten-question quiz, and carries extra practice questions with worked explanations.
